How the Intelliheat radiators work?
All our electric radiators provide responsive and efficient heating using three key components which work together to ensure extremely high levels of energy efficiency, making them truely unique.
1. Each radiator is fitted with a high quality tungsten element that absorbs energy quickly and heats up quickly, it retains the energy but releases it slowly, thus once heated it uses minimal power to maintain the correct temperature required to heat the theromdynamic fluid.
2. Each radiator is filled with a thermodynamic fluid and our exclusive Advanced Condensing System which is specifically formulated to heat up rapidly and to expand to the entire heat exchange area within the radiator resulting in maximum outer surface hot point effect. The thermodynamic fluid also has high heat retaining properties allowing the absorbed energy to be used to maintain the thermodynamic fluid's required temperature for the maximium period of time, therefore requiring minimal power to reheat.The Advanced Condensing System allows NEEDO radiators to recover, through evaporation, energy produced, effectively using heat twice and making the system more efficient.

An innovative, two-phase heat transfer system that enables you to :
- Recover the energy already produced by evaporation
- Obtain a much more rapid immediat rise in temperature
3. Each radiator is fitted with an intelligent thermostat. This thermostat not only guages and controls the temperature but it also regulates the exact amount of power needed to maintain the temperature, and therefore ensures that only the exact amount power is drawn to maintain the required temperature. When activated, the radiator will draw full power until the required temperature as set by the thermostatis achieved, this is normally within 10 minutes. At that point the radiator will cease to draw power, the thermodynamic fluid will have rapidly expanded and the radiator will have 100% surface hot point effect.Due to the tungsten element's slow release of energy and the thermodynamic fluid's heat retaining qualities, the radiator will continue to emit heat using minimal power to maintan the required temperature.
For example, when a 1000w radiator has dropped below the required temperature the radiator will sense that only 250w is needed to return it to that temperature, then the radiator only draws 250w not 1000w. Therefore by the radiator sensing when the temperature is reached and ceasing to draw power or controlling the exact amount of power required to return it to the desired temperature, it uses power in the most efficient way possible. In operational terms, this means that when a 1000w radiator is installed in a room that has been calculated to require 1000w, if switched on for eight hours to maintain the room's temperature at 21 degrees it will only use approximately three hours of electricity.

Once installed, the praticity, the inexistant maintenance and the design become very important features for the day-to-day pleasure.
